What is "Cart Abandon Rate"?

Cart Abandon Rate is the percentage of your customers who add something to their cart, but do not check out. A cart abandon rate of 49% means that if 100 unique customers add a product to their cart, 49 of them will leave with buying anything, and 51 of them will complete checkout.
